ASEBIO GREEN INNOVATION FORUM

Organized by AseBio, the Spanish Bioindustry Association, and Government of Navarra through Sodena, the financial agent of the Government of Navarra, the 5th edition of the AseBio Green Innovation Forum showcases the opportunities that biotechnology can offer as a key tool in the transition towards a more sustainable, carbon neutral and greener economic model.  The Green Innovation Forum is also firmly committed to achieving the objectives set out in the 2030 Agenda and the European Green Deal. The event also showcases Spain’s commitment to science and innovation and connects it with strategic industrial areas that have great transformative capacity and a high impact on people’s lives.

The AseBio Green Innovation Forum offers you the opportunity to learn in detail how biotechnology provides solutions to all these challenges and helps you to connect with industry, academia, investors, and the public sector.

The conference will have an agenda of conferences and business meetings in which to address the most relevant aspects of innovation in biotechnology and the green economy. We will also seek to find solutions to medium-long term challenges such as climate change, industrial transformation, sustainable food, or the development of bio-products, among others.

In addition, a fundamental part of the event will revolve around the generation of new business and investment opportunities. To this end, the event has a partnering platform where meetings between all attendees can be automated and the possibility of presenting innovative projects to the audience through pitch presentations.

*The event working language is English.

ABOUT ASEBIO

AseBio, the Spanish Bioindustry Association, brings together and represents the interests of companies, associations, foundations, universities and technology and research centres that work in the field of biotechnology in Spain.

We collaborate closely with regional, national and European governments, as well as with social organizations that are committed to science and the use of biotechnology to improve people’s lives and promote environmental sustainability, economic development and high value-added employment.

Over the past 25 years, we have been working to bring about positive political and economic changes that foster and drive development of the Spanish biotechnology sector. We are committed to the use of biotechnology to improve quality of life and promote environmental sustainability, economic development and qualified jobs.

AseBio is a community committed to science and innovation as a driving force for sustainable economic development and social wellbeing. We’ve created an inclusive ecosystem, open to all, with the aim of finding innovative solutions to the social and generational challenges we are facing.

ABOUT SODENA

Sodena is the financial support instrument of the Government of Navarra for the attraction and development of added value business projects for the region, also collaborating in its Smart Specialisation Strategy, to enable Navarra and its companies to position themselves as a benchmark region in Europe in the transition towards a sustainable and digital economy committed to the territory and people.

In the current S4 strategy, Navarre incorporates sustainability as one of the key cross-cutting issues to be developed not only because of the need to respond to the major challenges in the fight against climate change, but above all because it has key business and technological strengths in key areas of sustainable transition such as mobility, energy and food.

Among Navarra’s economic priorities are healthy and sustainable food, the green energy industry and personalised medicine, all of which are topics to be addressed in this Green Innovation Forum.
